This summer, Edith, Elon, Carrie and Deb will be traveling to Uganda during July and August as the first step towards starting an early intervention program for hearing impaired children. During this trip, we will visit and serve in programs for special needs children, including children with hearing loss, in various parts of the country. This will enable us to provide help to existing programs this summer as well as to gain valuable experience and information as we develop a new program for hearing impaired children that is not yet offered.  We believe God is calling us to establish a Christ-centered program for children with hearing loss in Uganda that will enable them to live their lives to full potential  and become active and contributing members of society.
